The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at providing safe and potable drinking water to all rural households across the country. - Funding: The mission is supported by substantial financial resources, and states receive funds based on the proposed Annual Action Plans submitted to the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
